I may not completely recommend most neckties with novelty prints but I’ll along with Tommy Hilfiger’s humor and spirit by showing them to you.
The Best In Show is around the corner. How apropos is this Tommy Hilfiger Scotty Plaid Clud Silk Tie with Scottish Terriers all over?It’s kinda cheesy but if you’re a pet lover who happens to be attending the show, then this is just the silk tie to wear :). $36.99 at Macy’s.
To you love to ski? I don’t think you’ll be wearing neckties on the ski slopes but maybe afterwards When you’re sipping your hot chocolate wearing a nice dress shirt with a Tommy Hilfiger Novelty Skier Silk tie underneath a nice comfy sweater. Sounds nice, eh? $36.99 at Macy’s.
At the movie screening of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in New Orleans, Lousiana, Brad Pitt looked mighty dapper in his Tom Ford suit. Not only did he wear a Tom Ford suit, he wore a checkered necktie with a plaid shirt underneath.
If that’s isn’t a brave fashion move from Brad Pitt, I don’t know what is. I could bend sideways a million times and try to say something bad about it but like my husband said, Brad Pitt is 40, he is fit, looking good like that, who gives a crap about the combination of plaid and checkered prints? He’s got a point. Then I added, “Plus he’s with Angelina Jolie”. Well, there you go.
I’m looking forward to seeing the movie. It looks very interesting. Not to mention Brad Pitt is actually such a great actor so I can’t wait to see his portrayal of this intriguing character.

I almost busted out Mr. Rogers “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” song when I saw this picture of Jonas Brothers wearing cardigans over their dress shirts, respectively. Kichael said that Daniel Craig looked like a GQ Mr. Rogers in his own cardigan look but I disagree. The Jonas Brothers are the ones who look like Mr. Rogers with these ensemble.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Believe me, I’m not chastising the look or the Jonas Brothers. I think they made the preppy style look adorably cute ).
Kevin Jonas opted for olive green vest cardigan, Joe Jonas went for the classic grey sweater, while Nick Jonas rocked the beige sweater.
I picked Joe Jonas’ vest pinstripes vest during the 2008 AMA but this time around I’m picking Nick Jonas’s beige sweater look. Joe Jonas is bordering on looking exactly like Mr. Rogers, while Kevin’s decision to go with jeans and blue croc (?) boots threw me off.

That’s exactly what the premise is for the new Adidas ad. Aptly called, “Celebrate Originality“, celebrities in the different genre of fashion, music, sports and pop culture were invited to partake in the ad. Namely, David Beckham, Russell Simmons, Katy Perry, The Ting Tings, Missy Elliot, Method Man, DMC, Estelle, Young Jeezy and Redman, etc.

While this Dirty English by Juicy Couture Kingdom Luxe shirt is called a “Twofer Tee”, I refer to this styling as “layered tee“. The short sleeves tee over the long sleeves shirt. Anyhooo, layered tee, twofer tee, schmancy tee, I like it. Although Tom (waves to Tom) probably doesn’t. He hates graphic tees, I think. He’s always busting my chops when I feature shirts with graphic prints :).
Dirty English by Juicy Couture Kingdom Luxe Twofer Tee features a Kingdom of South print on the grey short sleeves shirt and a black long sleeves graphic shirt underneath. You don’t have to wear sweaters everyday for this time of the year you know. Although I suggest a thick jacket over it if you live in the East Coast because the temperature has dropped down. The “brrrr” days are definitely here.

I only really liked a few Men, fashion wise, at the recently concluded 2008 American Music Awards. And what do you know, it was 2 Pop Groups. Jonas Brothers and NKOTB. These two music groups brought in Gentlemen Glamour.
If there is one thing I like about the Jonas Brothers is their ability to dress up for Awards Shows. They never disappoint me. I mean just look at how handsome they are here in their suits. At the red carpet, the teen pop stars called their ensemble, “English Gentlemen Suits”. Joe Jonas (middle) is my favorite in his pinstripes vest, pants and lilac dress shirt.
