2007 Style Forecast
I stumbled across a good style forecast today and decided to summarize the men’s fashion forecasts for 2007:
- Don’t wear skinny jeans unless you are crazy skinny
- Beach dressing (board shorts, etc) is out
- Country is back in - tweed, cords
- Business casual is getting more ’smart’ with good fitting pants and trim jackets
- Facial hair is still in
- Lace up shoes (especially those with brogue) are in, loafers are out
Other trends I have noticed:
- Lots of neutrals (grey, black) with splashes of bold colors
- Trim fall/spring jackets instead of puffy ones
- The ‘natural’ look in hair - less visible product, more movement and flow
