7 Random Facts About The Woman Behind She Knows Best

skb_woman.png2 people actually tagged me to do this Meme. First was Chloe from HerAccessories and the second was Sasha from Tops2Bottoms. I’m going to assume they really want to know 7 randoms facts about me, hah. I’m also going to assume you all want to find out 7 things about the woman who’s been dishing out about Men’s Styling and Grooming every day. I’m going to try to share with you 7 random facts that will revolve around fashion, styling, hair, beauty and vanity, heh. So here it goes :) .

1. As much as I LOVE shoes, I don’t wear ballet flats. Even though they’re been such a rave and I see women looking cute with a pair on with skirts or jeans, I can’t get myself to wear them. I feel more confident wearing 3(or 3 1/2) inches heels or wedges. I actually bought one from PAYLESS 3 years ago coz it seemed everyone were buying ‘em, I found out I didn’t like it. I sold theballet flats with a square bling detail at one of my Summer yard sales for $3, hehe.

2. Having stated #1 fact, I must add that I do wear flip flops, low chucks and sneakers. Albeit the latter is mostly when I’m working out :) .

3. After delivering my second baby August of last year, I made a goal for myself. I wanted to fit in a 2-piece swimsuit by this year’s Summer. Well, I’ve reached that goal this past Memorial Day, although it’s still a work-in progress, I took a picture of myself and posted it in my health and fitness blog. WHEEWWWW!

4. I’ve had a few different hair colors. Dark Brown, Light Auburn, Light Brown and after my second child was born, I dyed my hair black. It has been 9 months and I’m kinda missing my Light Auburn hair color. Hmmm, well see :) .

5. Remember the Demi Moore movie with Patrick Swayze, GHOST? I’ve cut my hair short like Demi after seeing the movie. I must have been in sophomore highschool or was it Junior, sorry can’t remember. But I do have a point coming. Anyway, I didn’t like it. When my hair grew I had it permed, but my head itched the whole time. Must have been all the chemicals. So I went back to long straight hair. Then freshman in College I once again had my hair cut in Bob style, ala Posh Beckham before Spice Girls were even popular, heh. Of course I didn’t like it. So after that I have been sporting long straight hair that has been through different hair colors to this day :) .

6. Unfortunately, I don’t get manicures done. I wash my hands a lot so I don’t see any point on painting my nails when they come off in the next 5 minutes anyway. I could wear the ghastly yellow gloves when doing dishes or dealing with cleaning solutions but I really hate them gloves. I don’t feel like doing a good job with them on so I just leave ‘em under the sink, heh.

7. Last but not the least, I can’t go out with no make-up on. If I don’t have time to apply foundation on my face or have my face all made-up I always make sure I have a lipliner and lipgloss on. I don’t like to scare people with my au natural look ..LOL.
