Hats are changing it up
Hats are coming back into fashion. I don’t know how many hats I’ve seen lately in celebrity photos - cowboy hats, fidoras, and the tweed cap you see here (no baseball caps!). But I think this is one of my favorite shots.
Granted, this is not for everyone. This, to me, is like ‘coordinated messy’ - you have to have that casual, eclectic look to really work this hat. I think Jason Lee (pictured) will show you that. The hat looks like he’s punched it out a few times to make it seem really nice and worn in - that’s the look to go for.
I am seeing more of tweed caps out there, but want to do some more digging. However, if you can find a cap like this, snatch it up! I’m going to do my best to dig the trendsetting stores to see what I can find.
Meanwhile I came across a really neat hat store (and blog!).

I hope they are coming back…my hair is going away more and more every day.

I love fedoras… But I’m not sure how to “pull off” a hat. To my wife, it needs to be dead center, totally “on”. To me, it needs to be … “off”… I get away with it by telling her I feel better with it slightly off kilter, but that’ll only fly for another year or two I’m sure ;-)

I think it depends on the had. A hat like this should be off centre, although I know guys (we can think of one famous black hat like this) who go dead centre.
But I think a fedora can be worn off the side. It has some attitude, that hat.
