Men’s Health : Focus on the Fine Points
On the June issue of Men’s Health, the MALEGRAMS - LOOKS feature compiled 6 items to help Men stand out from the crop. And here they are:
- 1. SUNGLASSES : Use classic but not gaudy metal frames, with a touch of gold.
2. WATCH : According to MH, you should invest in a longy-term style. Adding that a brown leather bands indicates refined rusticity. While large Arabic interface gives it a very modern look.
3. PEN : A ballpoint or rollerball pens are on the standard side while a fountain pen shows a polished look.
4. WALLET: This particular item should be sleeked and uncluttered.
5. BELTS : Men are advised to avoid too skinny, wide or flashy.
6. KEY CHAIN : It’s NAY on the plastic ring with 40 jinggling keys. Instead, use a leather strap or a sterling silvery key ring.

I think those are great tips, if you want to achieve that basic “All American”, standard preppy adult guy look.
I disagree with a couple of their tips; for example, I personally like studded belts with certain outfits or wearing scarfs with a few shirts, two things this magazine would obviously frown upon. :P Then again, I like to be a bit more artsy with my clothing choices. :)
