My Copy Of DETAILS Men’s Style Manual

A copy of DETAILS Men’s Style Manual by Daniel Peres and Editors of Details magazine is in my hands. The official launch date which I annouced last week is on the 18th but I’ve been itching to run through some of the stuff from book here at She Knows Best. I’m loving everything about it. Daniel Peres and company did a great job compiling all the nitty gritty on Men’s Fashion and Styling. From suits, jeans, shirts, ties, shoes, sneakers, you name it. A few known iconic designers has also participated and shared their 10 Rules of Styles.

Here are some samples of those supposed Rules ……….

• “Men have to have the courage to be sexy, to be attractive. Sometimes men hide themselves. I guess they’re afraid that they can’t be sexy because they’re men.”-Giorgio Armani

• “I have a man bag. I’m not gonna lie. Just make sure if you carry one, it’s very, very big so it doesn’t get mistaken for a pocketbook.”-Sean Combs

• “Middle-aged men should not wear black leather jackets. They belong to rock and roll and young kids.”–Donatella Versace

• “Justin Timberlake has great style. He’s a blend of American classic, hip-hop, and preppie.” –Tommy Hilfiger

• “Jeans are your most important piece of clothing, no question. They have to be worn. And they’ve got to be old. I also prefer that they be button-fly. The right jeans and a T-shirt can be sexier than the most expensive tailored suit.” –Donna Karan
