Oakley Half Wire XL
Ianiv’s most expensive item of the day - new sunglasses. Earlier in the summer he lost his Oakley’s and we looked everywhere. Cleaned up many times, no luck.
So, eventually we broke down. New sunglasses. Now, there are some things we agree you need to spend money on. Shoes and sunglasses are top of the list. They are the most protective of all fashion items you wear.
So, we went to a very large sunglasses store on Robson with really amazing selection of sunglasses. Checked out all the men’s wire frame sunglasses with the smaller lens and slightly wrapped fit we could find. Stumbled upon the half wire frames and fell in love with them. More sleek in appearance. In the end the choice was between a Ray Bans half wire and the Oakleys. The latter were more expensive but far more sporty looking with 100% UV protection. So, we got them - Okaley Half Wire XL
I am a bit biased towards Oakley. I love the way they look, especially on more narrow faces. I love all sorts of sunglasses and can admire the guy who can pull off the aviator without looking stupid, but I think high quality sunglasses that in the end suit your face won’t go out of style.
