The first article from the DETAILS Men’s Style Manual that I’m sharing with you guys is about the different styles of Men from different US cities. Men’s styles varies from relaxed, casual and big & brawny. The manual also outlined different lifestyles of the Men from corresponding cities. We’ll start with Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas.

LOS ANGELES
Local Style: Totally Casual
Cocktail: Vodka gimlet
Accessory: James Perse Shirt
Getaway: Alameda Padre Serra, Santa Barbara
Secret Pleasures: Bar-hopping downtown
Gentlemanly Act: No name-dropping
Well-Dressed Outfit: $500 Sweatshirt over $300 jeans.

Geez, that sweatshirt and jeans prices don’t sound too casual to me… LOL. “Secret Pleasures: Bar-hopping downtown”, Hmmmm, perhaps hoping of all hopes that the bad girls(Britney, Paris and company) of Hollywood would do something stupid? Hehe.

SAN FRANCISCO
Local Style: Relaxed Luxury
Cocktail: Negroni
Accessory: White Blackberry
Getaway: Pescadero
Secret Pleasures: Macchiatos in the back room of Tosca Cafe
Gentlemanly Act: Keeping the bumper stickers off the Prius
Well-Dressed Outfit: Gray flannel with brown suede shoes or jeans with a cashmere tweed jacket.

The outfit does sound luxurious yet relax at the same time. I could almost envision it actually.

DALLAS
Local Style: Big and Brawny
Cocktail: Tequila neat
Accessory: Filson bag
Getaway: Belize
Secret Pleasures: Dove Hunting
Gentlemanly Act: Avoiding political discussions
Well-Dressed Outfit: Bright, bold patterns and luxurious fabrics

My kind of cocktail that’s for sure :) .
